Earthquake resistant reinforcement has begun to attract concern assuming a major earthquake.
In one of methods of earthquake resistant reinforcement work, H steels are installed on pole or beam of existing buildings. This bring strong earthquake resistance. Many schools and public facilities have adoptd this method.
Problem
By the method mentioned above, edges of H steel bar may remain naked in some cases. Reinforcement H steel may be installed indoors, and it might be cause of serious injuiry. H steel edge is very hard and sharp, so high-level safety measures are required at schools.
